How do you improve your customer satisfaction?

I've been looking at ways to improve customer satisfaction but I would like to hear from people who have done it before. What worked for your organisation?

There are many factors to be considered when you are looking to improve your customer satisfaction:

1-  Communicating effectively with customers ask your customer continuously.

2-  Measure your customer experience using Mystery shopper techniques.

3-  Learning about and from competitors.

4-   Reducing customer efforts to do business with your organization by easing process and procedures as much as possible also making your product accessible as easy as possible.

5-  Conducting customer satisfaction surveys continuously to try to get feedback from  your customer as much as possible,

6-  Managing customer complaints effectively and having service recovery system in place.

7-  Analyzing customer complaints and addressing them.

8-  Making it easy as much as possible for your customer to complain as most of unhappy customers never complains and they leave you without giving you the chance to recover.

9-  Being professional and confident when dealing with your customer by training and continuously assessing your employees facing customers.

10-  Exceeding customer expectation is very important but first you need to understand what is your customer expectation is? What does your customer value the most then deliver it and exceed.

1st you have to give the customers what they request.

2nd employees training on customer service is as important as the training that should be given on product knowledge, the 1st impression that your employee leave on the customer will make them choose either to get your product or move to the next provider. And of course we should not forget aftersales services and the important effect it leaves on customer loyalty and a good word of mouth.

We should atleast focus on these points :

Pay attention to customer’s questions and concerns .

Always ask for customer feedback.

Pay Attention to returning customers .

Companies should focus on the two customers-retaining factors of any organization which are the processes and people. Continuous employees training in addition to deep revision of current processes is a perfect start for an organization towards improving customers
satisfaction.

There are so many circumstance to improve customer satisfaction:

  • Under-promise and over-deliver
  • Present a sample of client complaints in team conferences
  • Revert more quickly to emails
  • Be honest
  • Listen to customer feedback
  • Create customer loyalty
  • Keep in touch with the customer
  • Always give positive behaviour
